Surrounding the opal is the stone that it formed in, buffed smooth and minimally carved in order to accent its unique characteristics and its natural origins. The stone sits nestled in a 14k gold setting and hangs freely along a smooth cable chain.

Opal Care:

Opals are especially soft and delicate, requiring a bit of extra care. We highly recommend removing your opal jewelry, especially rings, before exercising or playing sports. They tend to absorb liquids, so be sure to take them off before showering or swimming, and before applying perfumes or moisturizers. Opals also don’t like sudden, dramatic temperature changes, either, so avoid wearing them on ski weekends or into saunas.
