Mother-of-Pearl Paloma Necklace
I love these mother-of-pearl beads as an alternative to a more traditional pearl necklace. Carved from the same shells that give us pearls, mother-of-pearl is made from the same nacre material but with a beautiful, iridescent sheen. Here, I strung a length of them on white silk cord and sprinkled in gold beads.
This necklace looks great against most patterns and colors you’d want to wear it with, and also layers well with gold chain necklaces and long pendants.

Watermelon tourmaline is known for its swathes of green, clear, and deep pink, and the stone featured in this necklace was cut to make sure you could enjoy every bit of it. Inspired by its more organic and freeform shape, I carved a lightly textured, asymmetrical pendant for a hand-wrought look. This necklace feels substantial and weighty, with the pendant hanging from a classic cable chain.

Inspired by ancient Roman and Egyptian jewelry found in ruins, this solid gold band features hand-carved beads nestled along its edges. Carved from wax and cast in 14k gold, it has a hand-wrought texture for a more rustic, ancient feel.
