The 8-petaled rosette was connected to the Egyptian sun god, Ra, granting the power of divine protection. Egyptian gods, goddesses, and pharaohs, wore them in jewelry, in their crowns, and even in their hair. I wanted to be able to do the same and created a bracelet with rosettes that would circle your wrist. The charms, cast in recycled brass, were originally carved in wax so I could give them a bit of texture and make them feel more like ancient pieces. I especially love that the rosette is both a beautiful, timeless shape and also a subtle way to hoard some good luck for yourself.
